PRIVACY
Your vault stays private.
CaskVeil is built around a simple idea: your vault content should not live in our database.
Last updated: May 2026
What you create
You create a blank encrypted vault in your browser. You decide which sections and information to add.
What we do not store
- Vault contents
- Master passwords
- Decrypted sections
- Readable documents, notes, contacts, or credentials
What may exist temporarily
Your browser uses memory while you create or open a vault. Clear the session or close the page when you are finished.
Your responsibility
Keep your .cloak file and password safe. CaskVeil cannot recover a lost password or decrypt your vault for you.
